Senator Richard Burr is an American businessman and politician. He is serving as a senior U.S. Senator from North Carolina under the Democrats since 2005. He was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives. He is also the dean of the congressional delegation in North Carolina.Â
Burr was born in Charlottesville, Virginia, on 30th November 1955. He graduated from the Richard J. Reynolds High School. Afterward, he enrolled at Wake Forest University, where he earned a B.A. in 1978.Â
