Senator Lisa Murkowski is an American Politician and lawyer. She has been serving as the senior United States Senator for Alaska for the past 19 years. She is the second-most senior woman of the Republican party in the Senate.

Murkowski was born on May 22, 1957. She was born in Ketchikan, Alaska. She earned her B.A. degree in 2018 in economics. She graduated from the Willamette University College of Law in 1985.

Murkowski worked as an attorney from 1987 to 1989. She served in the Alaska House of Republicans. They voted her as a majority leader before her designation in the Senate after the election.
